First Roadtrip EVER!

From the 14th to the 17th September, Kenneth went on his FIRST roadtrip experience. And he says he had an amazingly great time. He cant go into every single detail, but pictures of the trip on facebook should be up, depending on the unusually slow uploading. Here's afew main events:

1) The 5 hour car ride with lots of moo-moos, moo-moos and more moo-moos. Black, brown, beige, white. You name it they have it. Horsies and meh-mehs too. The minute he stepped out of the car to take pictures, all the animals ran off! Saddening.

2)Beaches, and weird treasures. Like the jelly that looked like fish poop (according to friends). but its TRANSPARENT and jelly like. Kenneth did his research and found that fish poop is brown. not transparent. Anyway. He found a coral and a starfish washed on shore, but sadly the starfish was dead long ago and the coral disintegrated when he got back. There goes the "treasure".

3) Captivating views from the top of mountains. plus Wind farms.( You know the big turbine fans that swirl for electricity? yes that. and it was HUGE). Rock formations. Yes the pictures are all on Facebook. I think. You'll understand what I mean by the view. Awesome-ness.

4) Nearly knocking down a kangaroo.

5) TONS AND TONS OF EMO POSES.

6) Our home-cooked breakfast. and dinners.

7) Kenneth's 4 other guy friends that made the trip memorable.

Pictures speak a thousand words, so I'll let the pictures do the talking.

It was a great relief from all the stress at school. loved it. For A MOMENT, I didnt feel like a student anymore. Wait, let me rephrase, I was free from everything. Losing myself, losing my identity, losing all responsibility. And it was a GREAT feeling. No agendas, no deadlines, no nothing on my mind. Somehow the scenic therapy worked. For some reason, the winds were music to my inner soul. For some reason, what was set before my eyes blinded all worry, problems, etc. For some reason, my heart beat was regulated and I could breathe easy, rather than having assignments and tests up to my neck.

Honestly if there was any more breaks I'll definitely go for a getaway. The only minus is, everything floods back on the way home. But at least my mind is not in the same condition as before.

let us be transformed by the renewing of the mind.

With recession smashing through continents, nobody is spared from it. I paid more school fees than I should =(. Aussie Dollar went down to 1.17?!?!??! goodness. I heard from friends who went back to Singapore during the 1 week term break, ERPs have VARIABLE PRICES. oh dear. I think we have to walk to grab food. Everything is going up because people want to recoup their losses. Reminder to self: Earn enough to tide through recession lest I go bankrupt.

Anyway, to all those Manchester United fans. Now you guys dont really have a sponsor. Especially those in England. AIG employees always buy up the front row seats to all Manchester United's games. NO WONDER AIG went bust. Come and watch soccer instead of working. Of course AIG got bought over. What to do. At least you guys have higher chances of getting front row seats and smelling Cristiano Ronaldo's body odour when he takes a throw-in or a corner kick.

EXAMS ARE IN 5 WEEKS. oh dear. I NEED TO BE MORE PRODUCTIVE! Meanwhile. Saturday is Gone. I'll have half a sunday and the whole night to finish 2 irritatingly difficult questions. God. I need your wisdom till the day finals are over. Then I can ORD in peace without worrying about my results. at least 2 HDs please?!?? and 2 Ds. Of course. MODERATION IN MY FAVOUR.
