While I was queueing up for MacDonald's lunch (trust me, the Mac's burgers here thrashes Singapore's Mac's FLAT), I felt particularly irritated at how long the person infront of me was taking to order. So much so, that I was debating in my mind whether to jump queue or not since the queues on left and right are going at a much FASTER pace than this woman. And as they always say, a hungry man IS an angry man. I think the woman had problems with English maybe, because the people infront of me were getting impatient. Eventually, the people left and got their food, and the woman was right infront of me, and of course being a good Samaritan, I helped her order and she was done.
Sometimes we look at others and others seem to be doing better than us financially, getting their desires of their heart, rising up in ministry, or anything else for that matter. And I believe that there will definitely be people in that same position as me thinking:
" Should I jump ship?"
" Am I on the right boat?"
" Things dont look good, I should just go and do something else."
However in decision making, we should always stick to the Father's plan, no matter how difficult it is. Yes, it is true that many have came. Yes, it is ALSO true that many have left. But bear in mind the purpose of God and what you are here for. Freely He shed His blood, not because He was psychotic, or plain suicidal. But because of the love He has for the Father, and the people, He did what He had to do. Because of love, He was willing to obey. And I'm sure, it wasnt easy knowing what lay ahead of Him, so much so that He wrestled in the Garden of Gethsemane. But yet, He made the one firm decision that will save all mankind.
A decision that no other could make except He Himself.
A decision that changed the course of the lives of you and I.
By simply staying on the straight and narrow way, you and I dont have to look to the left and look to the right. Just trust in Him and His character, and it is enough for you to act in faith to touch another life.
